Renata Rimbu - International Flexer
Renata is 21 years old and originally from Romania. She moved to Amsterdam two years ago to start a degree in European Studies at the UvA, and is currently in her third year. She’s always been interested in history and culture, so European Studies seemed like the perfect fit for her. As a person constantly looking for new challenges, she loved the flexibility and freedom to design her own path that her studies provided.
At Studentflex, Renata works as an International Flexer. This means that her job is to talk to as many students as possible, get to know them and their ambitions, and hopefully be a first contact in their process of finding a job. She has been very social for as long as she can remember, and putting her excitement of hearing other people’s stories into practice is a great pleasure for her. This is one of the main reasons why Renata wanted to join Studentflex: it is a place which lets creativity and innovation flow. Even more than that, she was immediately inspired by the care and desire to do things differently. Here, we want to know who you are, help you improve your skills and reach your ambitions. This is all before you find a job.
During her time with Studentflex, Renata hopes to be able to have many interesting conversations and be there for as many students as possible. Drawing on her own experience as a student in Amsterdam, she will do her best to help others and make sure their experience (with Studentflex) is a positive one.
